Most babies, during the seventh month of the baby first year would have learnt to sit without support, make razzing sounds and also try to bring near the toys which are out of their reach. In the ninth month of the baby first year, they will know and sense the missing objects and will start looking for them. To pick things up they use the thumb and the index finger and hold things.
